Disgust
Disgust emotion. According to the Global Psychology website, disgust is a primary emotion that is also universal since it is an emotion that all species experience to a greater or lesser extent. However, disgust is closely associated with the culture in which we have grown up and personal tastes because not everyone perceives disgust in the same way. What may be disgusting to me may not be for you.
Disgust is something that we consider unpleasant and produces a negative feeling. We associate disgust with food, but it can also be associated with situations. When we feel extreme disgust, our body reacts by vomiting or feeling nauseated.
– My mother is a smoker, and the smell of tobacco disgusts me, so when I am at my mother’s house, she never smokes in front of me; she always goes to the terrace.
