Calm

For some people, the feeling of calm and harmony can be fantastic; for others, it can be tedious. In our chaotic lives, we need to learn to calm down in situations we cannot control; learning to stay calm in moments of anger is very difficult and requires a lot of emotional intelligence. Daily, we will encounter situations where we must seek to calm ourselves down before regretting carrying out an action that we do not want just to let ourselves be carried away by the feeling of anger. We need to learn what activities make us calm down and relax.

-Some things can make you anxious in a city as stressful as London, such as public transport to get to work or work stress. In my case, I am developing anxiety when a place is full of people, so in these types of situations, I have learned to Calm Down. For example, I like to read, take a hot shower or simply walking helps me calm down and disconnect. When I’m having a bad day, or I’ve argued with someone, I try to calm down and go for a walk.
