Gratitude
Gratitude, in other words, is giving thanks, which is a feeling of appreciation.
When good things happen to you, you have to thank life and others, even when bad things happen to you, because you learn a lot from bad moments and mistakes. Learn to value what we have: our family, our friends, our health. Gratitude could be defined as a feeling of value and appreciation for those actions others do in our own favour, like our friends, family or even strangers. But gratitude is not only the acts of service that others do for us. Also the experiences that life gives us, such as opportunities. We can show gratitude for the good things that have happened to us, including the bad experiences, because they leave a lesson.
–I will tell you a secret: when I was 15 years old, I had an illness that affected my nervous system, and I went through a challenging process where my health was greatly affected. At that time, I learned to value the simple act of being able to walk. From a situation as bad as an illness, I learned something outstanding: to appreciate the little things. This circumstance changed my way of seeing life, and before complaining, I think I have many more things to be grateful for than sad about. This is, without a doubt, my favourite emotion. I even have this word tattooed on my leg.
Be thankful
